Find Local Crew operates exclusively as a directory service connecting Producers ("Hirers") with Cinematographers, Directors of Photography, Crew, and Equipment Providers ("Talent"). We are not an employer, staffing agency, rental house, or production company. We do not represent the Talent exclusively, nor do we manage their schedules or equipment inventory.

Any agreement, booking, or transaction entered into is strictly between the Producer and the Talent. Find Local Crew is not a party to these agreements and assumes no responsibility or liability for:

• Financial Disputes: Non-payment, late payment, refunds, or rate disagreements.
• Operational Issues: Cancellations, no-shows, scheduling conflicts, or breach of contract.
• Equipment & Safety: Equipment damage, theft, insurance claims, or on-set safety incidents.
• Equipment Rentals: Damage, loss, late return, or condition disputes for any gear rented directly from an Equipment Provider.
• Performance: The artistic or technical quality of the footage produced.

By using this site, both Hirers and Talent agree to hold Find Local Crew harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their interactions.

Find Local Crew is not a merchant of record and does not process payments. All financial exchanges occur directly between the Hirer and the Talent. As such:

• Tax Responsibilities: The Hirer and Talent are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling all tax liabilities, including income tax withholding and 1099 reporting.
• Sales Tax on Kit Fees: The determination of whether Kit Fees (camera rentals) constitute a taxable transaction subject to state or local Sales/Use Tax is the sole responsibility of the Talent and/or Hirer. Find Local Crew does not calculate, collect, or remit sales tax on behalf of any user.

These figures reflect common industry conventions, shown for reference only. Find Local Crew does not set, require, or enforce any of the following — all terms are determined solely between Producer and Talent:

• 10-Hour Day: Labor rates listed are based on a 10-hour work day (portal-to-portal or on-set, as agreed).
• Overtime: Work performed beyond 10 hours is typically billed at 1.5x the hourly rate. Work beyond 12 hours is typically billed at 2x.
• Kit Fees: Camera package rentals bundled with a hire, as well as standalone gear rentals booked directly from an Equipment Provider, are flat daily fees and are not subject to overtime calculations.
• Insurance: Producers are expected to carry a Certificate of Insurance (COI) covering rented equipment and general liability.

Rates posted by Talent are provided for convenience and may be changed by Talent at any time without notice. Find Local Crew does not verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for the accuracy of any posted rate, including rates that are unintentionally low, outdated, or incorrect.

Creating a Find Local Crew account requires email communication. By accepting these Terms during account creation, you agree to receive account confirmation, security, profile-review, project, inquiry, and other essential service messages, as well as occasional Find Local Crew news and marketing communications, including:

• Practical profile, booking, and production tips.
• New roster additions and talent availability in your region.
• Updates regarding new camera equipment available for rent.
• General community news, production resources, and clearly identified sponsor offers.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link provided in each marketing email. Essential service messages are part of maintaining and using an active account and may continue while your account remains active.

We take reasonable steps to screen out spam and fake accounts, but we do not verify the identity of Talent or guarantee that every profile belongs to a real, accurately represented person, nor do we guarantee the accuracy of reels, gear lists, resumes, or posted rates provided by Talent. Profiles are for informational purposes only. Producers are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence, including checking references, before hiring.

Talent who adds an additional local market represents to Hirers that they can accept work there as a local hire without producer-paid airfare, lodging, per diem, travel days, or other travel accommodations. This representation is made solely by Talent — Find Local Crew does not verify or guarantee it. Talent retains full discretion over final booking terms, including travel, and may agree to different terms directly with the Hirer for a specific project.

Talent retains all ownership rights to their reels, images, and resume data. However, by submitting this content to Find Local Crew, Talent grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute said content for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Find Local Crew, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liability, damages, and/or costs (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. You agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute, claim, or demand relating in any way to this agreement or your use of Find Local Crew shall be decided by binding arbitration or the courts located in Florida.
